IRENE BIANCO (percussions cinématographiques)

Percussions, vibraphone, grosses caisses anciennes et objets métalliques, cloches et shakers, carillon en papier, jouets à remonter et vieille cithare… Installée à Copenhague, la musicienne italienne Irene Bianco fait dialoguer cet instrumentarium avec l’électronique pour créer un univers sonore fantastique et cinématographique. « Kronblade », son disque paru fin 2024 sur le label Permanent Draft de Valentina Magaletti et Fanny Chiarello a été parmi la bande son qui nous a fait mieux supporter l’hiver.

Percussion, vibraphone, old-fashioned bass drums and metal objects, bells and shakers, paper chimes, wind-up toys and old zither… Based in Copenhagen, Italian musician Irene Bianco combines this instrumentarium with electronics to create a fantastic universe into which we plunge with delight. Released at the end of 2024 on Valentina Magaletti and Fanny Chiarello’s Permanent Draft label, her album “Kronblade” is one of those that regularly turns up on the turntable.
