Pour l’inauguration de la 40ème édition de Météo, on vous donne rendez-vous à partir de 18h à Motoco pour l’apéro et un premier concert au cœur de la guinguette qui accueillera les festivaliers chaque soir pour le dîner et jusqu’à tard dans la soirée ! Des food trucks, une sélection de vins natures et de bières artisanales locales vous attendent, ainsi que le jeune trio strasbourgeois [Na] formé de Selma Namata Doyen (batterie), Rémi Psaume (saxophones alto et baryton, effets) et Raphaël Szöllösy (guitare baryton, effets) dont le premier EP sorti ce printemps a été enregistré dans la mythique grange de Rodolphe burger à Sainte-Marie aux Mines. On les découvre fans des expériences éthiopiennes de The Ex, des immenses Getatchew Mekurya et Mulatu Astatke, et particulièrement branché·es scène de Chicago, depuis l’Art Ensemble à la regrettée Jaimie Branch. Une intro parfaite donc à cette première grande soirée de Météo 2023 !

To open this 40th edition of Météo Mulhouse Music Festival, the festival team invites you to meet at Motoco from 6pm for the aperitif and a first concert in the heart of the guinguette which will welcome festival-goers every evening for dinner until late in the evening! Food trucks, selection of natural wines and local beers await you, as well as the young Strasbourg trio [Na] formed by Selma Namata Doyen (drums), Rémi Psaume (alto and baritone saxophones, effects) and Raphaël Szöllösy (baritone guitar, effects) whose first EP released this spring was recorded in the mythical Rodolphe Burger’s barn in Sainte-Marie aux Mines. We discover them fans of the Ethiopian experiments of The Ex, of the immense Getatchew Mekurya and Mulatu Astatke, and particularly connected to the Chicago scene, from the Art Ensemble to the late Jaimie Branch. A perfect intro to this first great evening of Météo 2023!
